Saturday morning shooting is for novice/beginner archers. This is when our volunteer coaches will be present to assist.
Shooting is from 10.30am to 12 noon.
Please be geared up and ready to shoot by 10.30am
Distances start at 10m increasing by 5m increments along the line to 30m.
Once an archer has obtained their 30m badge, they will not be prioritised for morning shooting as are no longer considered novice/beginner and therefore graduate to afternoon shooting.
** If you arrive while the range is being set up please help putting out targets, flags and/or signs.
*** Any archer is welcome to continue shooting into the afternoon on a Saturday. Be aware there is no coaching currently available at this time.
Remember to also check out the Facebook page for other times the range may be open eg: Sundays
Badge criteria:
To earn a badge you must score 250 points twice (not necessarily on the same day) at each distance.
Once you have accomplished this, please approach a coach to be given your badge
Shooting is available to all archers from 12pm onwards every Saturday, but there is no scheduled coaching during this time.
Postals and other small tournaments and competitions are occasionally held during this time also.
Occasionally club members will head down on a Sunday to shoot.
Sunday shooting is self-guided, so you will be required to put up, and pack down, your own target.
There is no formal time for Sunday shooting, so please keep an eye on the Facebook / group chat channels for any members that might be heading down, or ask for a key if you want to shoot.
