Sessions are approximately 1.5 hrs long
There can be up to 6 beginners per course
These are usually held on a Tuesday or Thursday evening between 6:45pm and 8:15pm.

This includes 12 weeks Saturday morning coaching following successful completion of the course, and use of club equipment. Find out about Saturday morning shooting.
Age Restriction
Is my child ready for beginner archery?
While the minimum age for our beginner course is 10, archery is a skill-based activity that requires strength, coordination, and focus. Not all 10-year-olds are physically or developmentally ready - and that’s completely normal.
Before registering, we encourage parents to consider whether their child can:
Safely pull and control moderate resistance (like a strong resistance band)
Hold a steady position for 5–10 seconds while concentrating on a task
Follow and repeat multi-step instructions and wait patiently for the coach's advice
Maintain focus in a structured group environment (45–60 minutes)
Respond appropriately to safety instructions every time
If your child is still developing in these areas, we recommend waiting a little longer. Starting archery when they are ready leads to a more enjoyable and successful experience.
If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us—we’re happy to advise.
Our course coordinator will be in touch with further information and to confirm your registration.
